Development

Plancake is an open source project. That means you can download and use (with few limitations) its source code.

And if you are a software developer, you can change the application to better suit your needs or to add new functionalities.

Not only that. You can also share your improvements with our community of users.

We are using SVN as version-control system and a customized version of MySQL Eventum as issue tracker.

If you would like to contribute, you should first download the latest release of Plancake and install it on your computer/server.
Then, if you feel confident with that, you can check out the repository to get all the latest developments.

You can start browsing the repositories here:

Then you can checkout the code of our projects this way:

• svn co svn://repo.plancake.com/plancake_web/trunk

That way you will get the mainstream of development.
After checking out the code, you can find the information about the installation in the package itself.

You will be able either to signup for an account or use it anonymously.
